Pregnancy chiropractic in Dubai.

Back and pelvic pain are common in pregnancy as your posture changes, your weight shifts and hormones loosen the ligaments around the pelvis. As a female chiropractor, I offer gentle, carefully positioned care through each trimester and after your baby arrives.

What it can feel like.

  • Low back pain that builds through the day
  • Pain at the back of the pelvis, on one or both sides
  • Pain at the front of the pelvis when walking, on stairs or turning in bed
  • Sciatica-type pain down the leg
  • Rib or upper back discomfort later in pregnancy

Common causes.

  • Your centre of gravity moving forward as the baby grows
  • The hormone relaxin loosening ligaments around the pelvis
  • Changes in posture, sleep and activity
  • Lifting and carrying once the baby is born

How I can help.

  • Comfortable positioning: side-lying and supportive cushions, with no pressure on your bump
  • Gentle techniques and low-force options suited to each trimester
  • Exercises and sleeping positions to ease pelvic and back pain
  • Postnatal care for back, pelvis and the strain of feeding and carrying
  • Working alongside your obstetrician or midwife

I mainly use the Diversified technique: precise, hands-on adjustments that restore movement to stiff joints. Low-force instruments and soft-tissue work are always available if you prefer a gentler approach.

When to see a doctor urgently.

Contact your obstetrician or maternity unit straight away, or call 998 for an ambulance or go to the nearest emergency department, if you have:

  • Any vaginal bleeding or leaking fluid
  • Severe or constant pain in your abdomen
  • Regular tightenings or contractions before 37 weeks
  • A severe headache, changes in vision, or sudden swelling of your face, hands or feet
  • Your baby moving less than usual

Watch me explain.

Questions people ask.

Yes, when it is adapted to pregnancy. I ask about your pregnancy and any complications first, use positions that are comfortable for you and your baby, and will check with your obstetrician if anything needs their input.

Not usually. Do let me know about any complications. If your pregnancy is high-risk, I will ask you to check with your obstetrician before we start.

Whenever you feel ready. After a caesarean, wait until your doctor is happy with your recovery. Babies are welcome to come with you.
